Matters of Da Heart

Matters of Da Heart is an intimate collection where emotions are given form and feeling becomes visible. Through anthropomorphism, the heart takes on human gestures, postures, and expressions, allowing grief, love, fatigue, hope, and resilience to speak without words. Each piece serves as a quiet witness to the inner battles we often carry alone. 

This body of work was born from personal loss, but it is not confined to it. By humanizing the heart, the collection creates space for tenderness and truth, inviting viewers to recognize their own experiences reflected back at them. These hearts ache, stretch, soften, and endure. Just like we do.

 Matters of da Heart is not about fixing pain. It is about honoring it, sitting with it, and gently transforming it into understanding. In this shared emotional language, healing becomes communal, and peace feels possible.
